PREPARING FOR A VIRTUAL INTERVIEW

Due to the recent events occurring in the world, we now work remotely. As such, interviews are now being conducted virtually. We have mustered some tips to help you prepare for virtual interviews.

  • Find a well-lit room with a comfortable and quiet space. We are aware that working remotely comes with challenges such as noisy environments and other distractions. However, a quiet space is necessary for a virtual interview. Don’t get worked up about it, we are all in this together!
  • Fully charge the device you wish to use for the interview. The last thing you want is your laptop, tablet, or phone battery running low during a virtual interview.
  • Dress comfortably and smartly, bearing in mind the role you are applying for.
  • Turning on your camera is a good idea, especially for better engagement, unless network problems require you to turn it off. We treat virtual interviews as we do onsite interviews.
  • Be calm, relax and let your confidence speak for you. Fear is a disease, kill it with boldness.
  • Switch your other devices to silent mode to avoid distractions and interruptions.

2021 VIRTUAL INTERNSHIPS

Many of our 2021 internships would be virtual due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We want to ensure that our employees are safe and healthy while being able to deliver accordingly. The safety of our employees and their loved ones remains our priority. Undergraduates and Postgraduates (NYSC personnel) are welcome to intern with us.
