Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) are generally considered by economists as an integral part of the story for Africa’s fast rising socio-economically. The FMCG is also arguably one the largest industries globally, thriving on meeting consumers constantly changing needs. Thus, product surveys are constantly done, studying the market for Customer Knowledge/preference, to enable targeted manufacture and distribution of goods. Achieving this customer knowledge involves doing Below-the-line marketing, surveys, questionnaires, etc.
